The CAN-AI8-10 module provides 8 differential analog inputs. The resolution is 10 bit. The module
is available for standard signals (0..10V, ±10V, 0/4..20mA) as well as for variants where each
input is individually adapted to the signal to be measured. This allows e.g. temperatures with
Pt100 / Pt1000 sensors in a certain temperature range (e.g. -40..120°C) to be measured with the total
resolution. Please contact us!
Instead of transmitting the current measured values, the module can be parameterized so that it
automatically calculates mean values. The measured values can be sent cyclically. This relieves the
load on the master system and allows it to perform other tasks.
The CAN bus can be operated with baud rates up to 1MBaud. There are 3 options available for
communication with the CAN-AI8-10 module: On the one hand a simple CAN protocol, on the other hand
a CANopen® slave implementation, alternatively a
DeviceNet® slave.
