The conversion of diploma courses to Bachelor's and Master's degrees has changed education at
universities and colleges. The proportion of independent learning was increased and project-related
work was included in the curricula. The teaching methods should follow the new requirements and
create offers which enable the students to develop teaching material independently and under free
time management.
The RTTB offers an inexpensive hardware and software basis for this, which can be used in the
laboratory or as a loan device for project work and individual studies by students every semester.
The introduction of tuition fees in many federal states creates additional financial opportunities
to flexibly use the new freedom of design for interesting and instructive educational offers.
